[An Event Post]
May. 6th, 2017 01:22 amAfter a little bit of wheedling from nerds, instead of relaxing on his one day off, Kaz can be found:
1.) On the Barian Island! He's got questions that he could really care less about but might be important down the line. So, he's here to ask them and maybe just get conversations with sane people.
2.) At a cafe in his 'way too relaxed' teacher garb. He's going over papers in a folder, occasionally puffing on his unlit cigarette in his mouth. Sometimes he consults a large cork board at his feet.

Fine. Tell me about these books.
Re: [1]
Date: 2017-05-07 04:43 am (UTC)... wait, did I just convince Failnaught to do something? Is this how bookclubs get started?
"Alrighty, they're mostly detective stuff, battles of wits between criminals and the law. A whole lot more exciting than my usual job."
He laughs.
"Higashino Keigo's really good though. This first one, The Devotion of Suspect X really establishes the characters and gets straight to the point.
It hits on alot of good notes, like is it really a crime if you do something good for society in the end? Murder mysteries, decent philosophical ideas on law..."
Re: [1]

I'll try it.
Re: [1]
