*Shian goes by the reputable dealer of cards you're in, in the middle of muttering to himself about how it'll be fine, maybe he won't be entirely a bug person, before noticing the guy who he joked about being his drunken hallucination to, so long ago.

He considers his options. continue going over cyclic mental patterns, or talk to the big raggedy guy.

He goes for the latter and goes into the store.*

Oh man. That WASN'T a hallucination. He grins really big at Shian.

"Hey buddy! Long time no see."

... Yeah, I guess that's the case. *he seems lightly disturbed at your big grin but. okay.

... other than journals though, they really haven't seen each other face to face in a loooong while. wonder if either of them would add one and one together.*

"Yeah. Getting cards, gonna try and do the whole pro-circuit attempt again."

He nods, looking you up and down.

"You seem... Different since my travels in America. Anything exciting happen?"

I'm alive, but I don't know how that'd make me seem any different.

[ogrewarrior]

"You smell different. FEEL less like a ghost sent to torment me!"

He looks at you again, then around the shop.

"So, you and Sullivan, eh?"

Yes, the whole "I'm alive" thing applies to that.

*... he takes a moment to shudder a bit* If I had known...

"If you'd known what? That he's a creepy bastard?"

No, the apparent bug "problem" he has.

[ogrewarrior]

"Oh. ...Yeah. That's also a thing. Why's that a big problem?"

... I'm not very fond of bugs that I don't have direct control over.

Especially monster bugs.

"He'll be... You'll be fine. Promise. If not, I can go over and have a talk with him."

I'm apparently his probation supervisor now.

I don't even know why. I don't work for the police or anything like that. Uggggh. *he holds his head* At least in other words, I'm allowed to have a dragon slam him into a wall if he tries anything.

"Be prepared for that to happen, honestly. Adams probably has some sort of game he's playing."

I take it you know him well.

"Not really... Well. Just enough to bet that he's... She's. doing something else. ...We're going to hang out after you two talk with Onee, if you wanted to come and drink with me as we listen to it buzz."

*has a momentary look of "She?", before deciding to not ask.*

"Fair enough. It'll be fine. You'll be fine, I'm pretty sure."

He pauses, looking around the shop.

"So, you here to rebuild your decks too?"

Actually, I came in here cause I saw you, and I wanted to distract myself from thinking about bug people.

My deck's pretty solid, and they don't sell anything that works with it, anyway.

"Really now?"

Kaz is grinning at Shian now, looking him up and down.

"After I get some put together, maybe we can have a friendly duel?"

*whhhy do I feel a little put-off by that grin and staring at me. I didn't turn into a girl, right. ... definitely didn't. Hnn.*

... I guess I wouldn't mind that. Probably better that I at least use it more than I do right now.

"I mean, I figure it'll help us all out in the long run, honestly."

Man it'd be unfortunate if you were a girl I'd be torn between respecting you and hitting on you shamelessly.

"Since we basically use them to help secure our peace, keeps us sharp, right?"

*oh I am so thankful I'm not a girl at the moment then. I would not be able to handle being hit on shamelessly, I already deal with Jinn.*

Yeah, I guess, though having the whole giant dragon thing helps too. *when'd they get a dragon? he didn't have a dragon thing back when he was your hallucination.*

Yeah. I kinda got. Conscripted into it by a ninja girl or something.

She gave me the dragon and I woke up the next day with a gaudy tattoo on my arm. At least the dragon's gotten along with me.
