Damn. He was hoping that he'd manage to get all of his ducks in a row before THAT happened. At least it looks like Marias and Akaba wailed on him enough to put him down for a while...

So, Kaz can be found at LDS. Probably in places a scuzzy looking fellow like him shouldn't be. Like on his way to see Akaba. With the current problems, he has at least left his sword with security.
