So, Kaz can be found at LDS. Probably in places a scuzzy looking fellow like him shouldn't be. Like on his way to see Akaba. With the current problems, he has at least left his sword with security.

"Tsukumo could probably be convinced. The people that blew up his hometown? Even if he doesn't want to get as... vicious as some of the others, he'll do it because it's the right thing. I think he needs a bit of polishing, duel wise, but that's what this is disguised as. He's improving. He's got some sorta magic crap going on, mostly with his numbers. I've stuck out feelers to DA so I can get a better idea.

Now... Sakaki's a different story. I've watched him make pendulum summoning over and over on the internet. Gives me the willies, if I'm gonna be honest. And it's... like there's not a negative vibe in his body. Which ALSO weirds me out. There's no balance. Tiny little sensitive heart. I'd put him above all our other candidates if I didn't have those misgivings. Especially using magic to make a duel disk system accept cards that he shouldn't have been using then..."

Kou's just a basic rundown on public documents with him. Kaz's experience with him, thorough, clearly extremely tough to take as much punishment as he did and still kick something off of Trena. Neil is clearly trying to 'fly low' but 'played his hand' when he nearly took out a top eight contender in a perfect duel before he pissed her off. Which then brings him to:

And then Trendafilka's growth is astounding, from getting stomped on by Kachidoki to kicking the crap out of him recently. If that can be kept up and she can fed a steady diet of strong duelists...

Sakaki's ability to do that is why he must be recruited. His heart isn't distorted like Marias' is. Have you heard of the Signers at all? ::Closes the folders.:: Train these other three. Especially Cardozo. From these reports, she can become one of the strongest 'natural' Lancers.

I'm beginning to think I banged a duel spirit in the jungle after spilling my guts all over her and told her my life story and Trendafilka's the result of that union and the only reason she didn't raise her is that she thinks my 'species' abandons children at a very young age and thank god the Cardozo's got her because otherwise she'd be worse.

Don't tell me a thing. I literally don't want to know for liability reasons, if it's something 'under the table'. And as to Wakahisa. I'll trust you on that, but only get her involved if you feel it's necessary.

He sighs.

"Tech, training. Kou and Neil as our best naturals..."

He nods.

"I'll let ya rest sir. There's limits to how long will can keep a body up and moving when it's not vital."
