 So, took out that cowboy that was hounding around, looking for people. He was pretty dumb, all things considered. Got no closer to what he was doing. Some sorta Grand Librarian summoned him to plague us with unfathomable stupidity and the promises of money.

But then he exploded and turned into a glowing zombie card. Which is... alright. I guess. Not a 'what I always wanted.' But nice. BUT I've got TWO horses now. And I'm building a chariot. 

I'm open to not going off on my own after everyone who may be a librarian.

I mean, I want to say they're probably enchanted or something. But, it's also just a different zombie card, like I'm a character in an RPG leveling up and getting new weapons.

Not that it'd be smart, since he'd likely wanna kill you for killing him.

Not at the moment. I haven't heard of any librarians, or anything related to them.

But knowing there's a point of where to look now helps a lot. Did he say anything about this Grand Librarian?

Just kept saying that was who summoned him. It was so tautological I killed him for it.

Nothing about where this Grand Librarian might be slinking around? Looks like? Plans?

Nope. Pretty much confirmed their Queen is still locked up at least. Bastard was too dumb to know what his summoner was planning, so there's that. Which means this guy is either as hilariously incompetent as his minions, or really smart.

Yeah, exactly. I want to be proactive, but I think I'm going to need to sit and wait for the next bullshit, unless some librarian or something comes forward and says they are who I'm looking for.

Because, I'm not 100% certain on this, cause her memory might've been shot regardless.

But I think I might've made her forget that she was gonna be returning home to overseas, because it may have had ties to the gunk I had to get out of her head related to the whole monster possession thing.

Yeah, I got you on that note. I'll look for her. I'm pretty good at finding people. It's not your fault that she's wandered off though, Shian. You did all you could, you can't be responsible for her every second of every day.

I, uh. Hate to be a paranoid cynical bastard, but I got a few ideas.

One, she's grateful for your help, but doesn't want to bother you anymore with what's happening and all and doesn't want you up in it, despite you sounding like you are.

Two, kidnapped, forced to check out. Or something that looked like her checked out.

Three? Repossessed by what you were talking about was in her in the first place, if that's possible. None of them are good ideas.
