Looking "comically bad" doesn't mean they are, of course. That Dark Breaker was pretty nasty. Though... looking at him, it might be smarter to not assume that there's gonna be any sort of real theme to these guys. They might look like anyone or anything, especially in terms of monsters.

That sounds like it makes more sense, at least to me, yeah.

Well first, before I decide to say anything, cause I really don't want to talk about stuff I'm not personally involved in for her own sake, tell me what you think they're after her for.

If you and her aren't comfortable sharing anything, you can just say 'she's a witch' or 'was a witch but got hit in the head really hard' and I'll leave it alone.

Long story short, and I'm really just making estimates of this, I wasn't involved in this whole mess that went down first. Just the recent stuff:

But she got possessed by a really nasty monster for a while-- long enough that it left a big mental footprint in her that had to get cleaned up before it'd drive her crazy with impulses, and I'm pretty certain that whoever actually did "crimes against the crown", it was the monster doing the possessing. Not her.

This is a guess, but I think it's as much likely that they're just a little out of the loop about that. The guy down there mentions that they were stopped the last time they tried to come, so it'd be hard to pick up on the fact that she isn't possessed anymore, if it's taken them a while to pop back up.

Or they know she isn't, and just feel that she's a good substitute if they can't find the actual "culprit". Either way, it's annoying to me.

She's not my lady. I'm not really into blonde girls, anyway-- too many bad memories. I honestly just met her recently, but... I sorta blame myself for her missing her flight back home and some mental disorientation on her part, cause of the mental cleanup I had to do. So I've been paying for her hotel room so she'll get settled.

I'd had hoped she'd be able to find a job in the meantime so she can be stable, but this guy going around trying to hunt her down doesn't help that area. So, yeah, it'd be nice to hear any updates on it.
