Kaz is doing fine. He's not in some sort of strange state of simultaneous shock and happiness, that'd be crazy talk! ... okay, he's in a state of weird shock with how weird his life has gotten in the last two weeks, let alone last few days. It's probably fine. Kaz can be found:

1. In his personal office at 'Infernal Mysteries' filling up a suitcase. You either have an appointment or you're dropping in on him unexpectedly. Either way, it's the same stuff: Clothes, a wicked looking axe, some sort of tactical gear, ingredients that seem like they could be used to make bombs... The suitcase is clearly not normal.

2. At Flamvell, getting a steady stream of food and carbs and, weirdly enough, just mostly low alcohol beers that he's treating like most people treat water. He seems more... pensive than usual. Like he's got alot on his brain.

3. Out and about, jogging through the park, working out at a gym, or even some agility course. He absolutely still 'has it' though he seems a bit slower than the last time he was really active.

"Memory's slippery? That's getting more common." He motions for you to sit down as he sets his suitcase aside.

"I like talking to people, so I don't charge for that. If we figure out what's up, we'll do some stuff to keep both of us from forgetting and go from there." He hrms as he starts setting up a few recording devices, one analogue, one on a cellphone. "You okay with me recording this in like, three different ways?"

Hrm. Keep thinking about kids, not sure if I wanna go the extra step. ... And yeah. That tracks.

"Perfect experience, honestly. I understand the hesitation though. When you guys are ready and all that shit." He waves a hand. "It also applies to your bosses, but I think I'm obligated to give those two shit about it."

"Oh, y'know. Helen violated the laws of causality and made another kid of mine who was barely real into her twin after aging herself up since time has no bearing on her physical or mental age." He blinks. "Eira's doing great though, no notes. Excited to see what she does with her bandit academy training."

Ryozanpaku? I thought that place got shut down due to non-compliance with the leagues and something about a girl the owner was doing something super sketch with. I guess they reorganized under new management.

I think one case was just my boss's boss's boss's boss just getting into the usual magical rigmarole you might get with dealing with BV adjacent nonsense.

But the other two cases, gets hazier. I think one was asking 'how young can one get hybridization'?

The other was a real odd thing. I think. I think. It was asking 'is there a way to become someone else'.

The big man waves at George and then stops after jogging past a few meters and turns around.

He grins big and offers a hand.

"There's a non-zero chance they're using time travel and/or alternate dimensions. I just pay the bills and sign the forms, I don't look under the hood."

He sounds like he desperately wants to peek under the hood, but knows it's a bad idea, just in general.

"Okay, so one case is a Wakahisa nonsense, yeah. Sounds right." He scribbles something on a notepad.

"How young can one get hybridization. I think I know what that means, but it's damn near useless without context. Who was asking? Any other things you can tell me about where you heard that?

... Someone else. It. Was asking you. Not a person, but an it. Can you tell me about it?"

Yeah, that's probably for the best. Man, the kids around here got a bit weird, didn't they?

... Tall. Sounded female. I think in my office. Females? Ugh. Hazy.

As for the second. I felt something. Not human. And it felt like a boring, like a drill sense of boring, just. Weight. It seemed to be avoiding hurting me, but still.

"There's... still some... There's PROBABLY some normal kids. Somewhere.

Granted, I think these two are an extremely special case, considering one is Gwen and I's actual 'real' kid, skipping through pregnancy SOMEHOW and got dumped in Russia's underground scene about 20 years ago, while the other is a combination of reality's mistakes that has attached herself to us like a parasite, because of... reasons, I guess? Whatever, not like I love her any less. I got memories of raising both to 14 even if going by linear time, it doesn't make sense at all."

He drains his beer.

"We'll go with tall females for the moment. In your office. Where do you work?"

He scribbles again.

"Drilling weight... And not hurting you, which is a plus, but still a real ominous statement." Scribble, scribble.

"Any other things you can note about the tall women? Colors, maybe? There's alot of colors going around. Same for the second."

Ah.

Time bullshit.
