It's... actually probably likely.

But I usually remember those sorts of trips. And I'm not sore like I usually am and don't have any new wounds. ... maybe it was a time displacement or something? I remember those happening a little while ago.

Pretty sure. I mean, could be missing memories of what happened. That's likely too. But I don't feel any worse for the wear.

Not recently. I feel like there was some instances a while back of "gaps" being tripped into, but I'll have to check my notes to make sure I wasn't imagining it.

Yeah, that'd be helpful. Eh, at least it was only a week. Last 'trip' I took was nearly a year.

Akira has been... keeping me on task, that's all. Trying to make sure I have a schedule. Things like that.

That's good though. Is eating and sleeping on that schedule?

Yes, that's the intent. Embarrassingly enough.

I'm aware of that. But my work is important and engaging. I get to eating and sleeping... eventually, usually.

Breaks are sometimes needed, y'know?

Depends on what the break is for and what the work is.

But... I know, I get it. This is why Akira is going out of his way to help with that.

I think that's reasonable. Maybe force HIM to go out and socialize and promise to stay on your schedule, so he doesn't worry so much?

He does have a friend he regularly sees, and she helps out at times with the tests, too. But I feel like he'd be more secure if it were on a day where I... Wasn't working.

Take one day off then. I know your research is real important to you, but one day off isn't going to stop it.

We'll go do something. Like my bookclub or you can come over and meet Helen and Gwen.
