[Event Post]

A not needed to understand this post short story, but maybe to understand other character's actions. Quarter recent events, three fourths flashback. A Kazback.

Kaz has standing business! Thankfully, this is because he is very busy and has a tendency to drag his feet and not because the person writing him disappears for half a week at a time.

He's either:

1.) Hanging out on the Barian island. More books, more relaxation. Make sure he doesn't get that in.

2.) On LDS' campus, waiting for some of his 'special classes' to start. And maybe congratulate some people in person, since they've done so well.

3.) Maybe he's at your house after some agonizing soul searching, dressed in a suit, trying really hard to look professional. ... it's very hard for him.

... Oh. Right. Normal people get traumatized when exposed to that stuff.

After a few seconds of gears turning, Kaz realizes he's made a teenage girl cry and jogs after.

"Oy, Sylvia! Sorry, look, that was... A little thoughtless of me to say. Let's, uh. Talk this out, alright?"

It's fine, sorry to worry you. You didn't mean anything. Like...

*She's trying hard to smile while wiping away tears that haven't even formed.*

That stuff is weird and stuff. Like... it was apparently made of my brain? Or at least for it. I just wanna focus on what caused Silent Hill to be what it was, not what happened in it.

*She pauses for a second.*

Actually, I don't know if you know what Silent Hill is, uh...

I... Alright. Look. Yeah, there's awful shit out there. But here's some stuff to use to defend yourself from it. More good things happen than bad from their use and...

I used to teach 'defense against the dark arts' basically. You know Harry Potter, yeah?"

Enough to know that you probably don't want to teach that. Honestly, I just kinda wanna learn how to get used to like physical contact dueling. I kinda just wanna be done with weird stuff.

I'm fine with weird stuff in general. I just. Don't really want to get physically attacked by my entire family's trauma again. And even if the fighting stuff goes away, I'm still gonna have to like... tag people, you know? That's physical contact too.

Well, it died. Even if my Silent Hill thing is a hundred percent accurate, and I'm forced to fight my Pyramid Head again... I know that I can beat it.

And it's cool about the touchy stuff, that's what Neil's for.

He wordlessly offers his fist. It's gotta be bumped, Sylvia.
