The day's here, oh boy oh boy. You've been tapped by Kaz for training, special or otherwise. He's spread you all out through the day, so you've got what seems like a fairly short amount of time for a one on one, if you've cheated and communicated with the people near your block.

Before you've come, there was a short survey of what action fields you wanted help 'ingraining' and what you think your deck's greatest strengths and greatest weaknesses are, as well as what sort of deck you wanted to duel against.

When you arrive, he's got a folder with your name on it he's flipping through. If you're doing this in a certain way, with a bike or have news to deliver with a sibling, he's more than willing to accommodate.

Kaz stares down any staff that want to stop and talk to him as he gets into his office, gesturing for the two of you to sit down as he closes his door. Locks it. Flips a few pieces of paper over on his desk, scribbled with arcane runes.

"We're good you two. What's up?"

Shiunin is one of them.

As in the guy who ceded his chance at the title and let Tendou take it. And plays the cutesy-creepy monsters.

He hooms.

"That's... I've been wondering what he and Kurosaki've been on about...

Which means... Hoo, shit. And he's training Yuzu? Fuc-" Pause. Beat.

"You two are sure?"

*he looks at the papers for a moment-- weird things-- before giving his attention to the situation here*

The coat he was wearing was exactly what the people who attacked Heartland were wearing. It looks like Kurosaki knows something, too. The way Shiunin was approaching him... and that look on his face too, was pretty much a recreation of what those people would do...

I thought I was seeing things at first, since I was still dealing with the head injury, but Rio saw it, too.

He notices the look. Shrugs.

"Supposed to be anti-scrying shit. If, say, people are using magic or something to look at us, they're actually getting a view of my roommate doing karaoke. In the buff."

A long sigh.

"I was gonna ask some people about this feud, but... fuck. Thanks. Which means... there's gotta be more and hopefully Sora's the strongest among them."

*magic? ... that's a weird choice, but he won't push it. he doesn't really understand magic...*

Well... that's the problem.

I was paying attention since I noticed what Shiunin was wearing. And I'm not really sure, but... I think Kurosaki told him to go get someone higher than him.

So either it was a tasteless jab at his height, or there's someone better than him. And given Kurosaki, I'd put my bet on it being the latter.

Probably a few people better than him. Quite a few."

He runs a hand through his hair.

"Ya feeling up to dueling, you two?"
