So how does one break into the professional dueling circuits here?

Find an ethically dubious manager and have an impressive manager.

Defeating high profile duelists would help. As would getting involved in the local pub and street dueling circuits of sorts.

Know where I could find both of those rolled into one person, before I have to do this all myself? Because that's just gonna end up being a mess.

Me and Susan's manager is kind of both. But I think he sticks to girls and young women.

There's also Noriko, but she owns like 3 teams, I checked. I don't think she needs more.

If you have enough money to start your own Pro Dueling Firm, yeah, probably.

... Street Duels and well, I don't recommend them, but Underground Duels would get you money faster.

Never been in one, but there's rumors of high risk, high reward duels in less than, how shall we say, reputable places. You can likely get a huge contract for the Pro League or large sums of money, but there's also rumors a lot of these affairs can kill you or severely injure you.
